A graduate of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology as well as Journalism and Media Studies at the University of Warsaw. Her research interests focus on medical anthropology and the sociology of health. As part of her doctoral studies, she plans to conduct research on the experiences of individuals with eating disorders and comorbidities, and on their interactions with various healthcare systems in Poland.

Paths to Healing? Ethnography at the Intersection of Various Polish Healthcare Systems – The Case of People with Eating Disorders
The research project focuses on the experiences of individuals with eating disorders and comorbidities (such as depression, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders) in Poland. The main goal of the study is to understand how these individuals navigate different healthcare systems—public, private, and hybrid—through an analysis of their treatment trajectories, therapeutic pathways, and the difficulties they encounter. Particular attention will be given to systemic, socio-economic, and cultural barriers that affect access to treatment. The project contributes to the development of Polish medical anthropology by providing empirically grounded insights into the relationships between illness experience and the structure of the healthcare system.
