Profesor IFIS PAN

Absolwentka Kolegium Międzywydziałowych Indywidualnych Studiów Humanistycznych (MISH) na UW (magisterium z etnologii w IEiAK UW). Studiowała w Szkole Nauk Społecznych przy IFiS PAN w Warszawie (doktor nauk humanistycznych w zakresie socjologii). Stypendystka m.in. Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung, Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology i Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD). Jej zainteresowania badawcze obejmują: antropologię medyczną (w szczególności biomedycynę, relacje pomiędzy medycyną a religią, biotechnologie, biotożsamość, choroby rzadkie); bioetykę; antropologię etyki i moralności; antropologię religii. Tereny badań: Finlandia, Niemcy i Polska.
