Jan Frydrych, MA

PhD student at the University of Warsaw

Graduate of Cultural Studies at the University of Warsaw. Ph.D. student at the Section for Contemporary Culture at the Institute of Polish Culture, Warsaw University. Member of the Section for Culture Animation. His main research area is medical anthropology. In his M.A. thesis he examines the experience of suffering from chronic diseases. In his Ph.D. research he focuses on Polish hospices and palliative care.

As a member of Anthropology of Rare Diseases Project he explores the field of disability studies.
